Sony Announces NWD-B100 Mp3 Player Series

Sony has just announced a new Mp3 player for their walkman series of players called the Sony NWD-B100. The most interesting feature of NWD-B100 is that you need no cable or dedicated software to load songs onto the player. It weighs just 30grams and easily fits in your jean pockets. It allows the user to just drag and drop music straight on the MP3 player via USB connection from the PC.

Music Files can be ‘streamed’ directly via a USB connection from the NWD-B100 Series to a hi-fi, but the music needs to have same codec such as the Mini/Micro system.
Easy to use software is built in Sony’s new B100 Series, making it extremely simple to add your favorite songs from other devices through a USB port (supports USB 2.0 high speed transfer) to your new walkman. The Mp3 player supports MP3 and WMA files.

Other Features of the NWD-B100 series include:

• Easy to use ‘drag and drop’ transfers via direct USB
• Voice record with built-in microphone
• Recording from built-in FM tuner (NWD-B103F/B105F only)
• 6-mode equalizer
• Ultra-portable NWD-B100 is equipped with ‘Auto Transfer’ software that enables the user to copy music files from PC automatically.

It comes in three cool colours - black, white and violet with easy-to-wear headphones. The pricing of 1GB model is 35 pounds and 45 pounds with radio, whereas the 2GB model costs 45 pounds and with radio it will retail for 55 pounds.
